Outside Date Ideas for Spring and Summer

Spring is here and summer is just around the corner, so it's a great time to experience the joys of warm weather together with your spouse.  Below, I've listed date ideas that encourage getting outside and enjoying nature and also having a fun with your spouse.  And always...Keep It Hot!

Backyard Camping Rendezvous

If you have a backyard, patio, or rooftop that you can be comfortable, safe and able to put a small tent up, then a Backyard Camping Rendezvous is great idea for you and your spouse.  ring along a picnic basket with goodies and even add a few lights for a romantic setting.  Use your imagination and have fun!

Rooftop Restaurant

This idea is more likely to be offered in bigger cities but can also be found in smaller ones.  With the weather warming up, eating outside is ideal.  But not just outside, but at the top of the building outside. The views and the atmosphere are conducive for romance to flourish.  So the next date night you and your spouse have, consider experiencing it on top of a building.

Watch Movie In The Park

This a great idea for couples who love movies and enjoy being at the park.  Don't forget to take a blanket and a small basket of goodies!

Geo-Caching is a free real-world outdoor treasure hunt.  How it works:  Players try to locate hidden containers, like geocaches, using a smartphone or GPS and then they can share their experience online.

Watch The Sunrise

Never have I seen a more beautiful time of day.  To me I have found that it is a very spiritual time of the day where everything is fresh and new and miracles seem to happen right before your eyes.

Go Tubing

Do you and your spouse love to be in the water?  If you both do then tubing is a great way to enjoy the water and have fun too!

Hot Air Ballooning

This is truly an activity that requires not the faint at heart.  But, if you both enjoy the freedom of being in the air, then this is great idea for a date.

Do you both enjoy making your yard as beautiful as can be?  If so, consider making a garden together.  It's a nice way to spend time together and it's also a nice way to eat vegetables.  Win, Win!

This is another idea for water lovers.  What I like about this activity is that you both have to work together to enjoy smooth sailing and isn't that what marriage is all about?

Here are a few more activities that will be great for Outdoor Date Ideas:

Drive In Movie

Rent a Row Boat

Tour your city or closest big city

Go Kart Racing

Horseback Riding

Rock Climbing

Farmers Market

State Fairs

Flea Market

Amusement Parks

Take a Biking Trip
