Backyard Camping Rendezvous

ROMANCE UNDER THE STARS

Plan a romantic camping rendezvous in your backyard or patio.  If privacy allows of course.  If you already have a tent then you are already off to a good start.  If you don’t have a tent ask a family member or friend to borrow one.  If your budget permits you, purchase a tent that fits your romantic and creative needs.  Just remember when you are shopping for your tent that you keep in mind both you and your spouse’s comfort level.  Its hard to be romantic if you both are uncomfortable.   A great addition to your night of romance is a picnic basket.  It is a great place to carry all your food and drink essentials for the night.  If you have some old decorating lights hang them in trees or on the patio to give an extra touch of romance.

*To truly dazzle.  Bring your IPod or MP3 player along for the night.  After eating your dinner, have her/him stand up outside of the tent and ask for a dance.  Once she/he accepts, place one earphone in her ear and your ear.  Dance to the music that only you and your sweetheart are privy to underneath the stars.

Keep the Romance Hot!

Keeping the romance alive after the honeymoon is over is essential for a successful marriage.  Romance is just not about sex, but also about deeply connecting with your life partner on an emotional and spiritual level.  Taking time everyday to romance your spouse is something that can be done and should be done.  You can show romance in everyday things you do.  Pressed for time some days?  Simple expressions like writing on the bathroom mirror, “I love you” is romancing your sweetheart.  Don’t have time to go out dancing?  Catch your spouse after dinner and dance under the stars or wherever you choose.

Take the time and find the romantic in you!

Top 5 Excuses for Lack of Romance in Marriages

"My wife knows how much I love her."
Love needs reaffirmation at times and don't forget that actions speak louder than words.

"I do not have time for romance."
If time is not made for romance, relationships could lose important bonding time that is needed for life long commitments.  Not finding time for romance can also find you alone, single-parenting, etc.

"Our finances are limited."
Romance is more than buying a gift.   It is the expression of your love that shows your spouse how special they are to you.

"Real men are not romantic."
Being romantic with your wife is about making her feel loved and special.  Nothing else matters.

"He's a man he does not need romance."
Men are just like women when it comes to wanted to feel loved and appreciated. Romance works two ways.  It needs to be received as well as given by husband and wife.
